Y-Fi-Pro Edge Proposed option

Useful information when mobile signal is weak

Some venues have poor mobile coverage. The proposed Y-Fi-Pro Edge option is designed to make a welcome page and selected venue information available locally over the venue Wi-Fi, so guests can begin exploring even where mobile data is unreliable.

Live websites, payments, cloud services and new remote updates still need a working internet connection.

What can a venue put in the web app?

Menus, booking links, venue services, events, maps, local guides, feedback links and other useful content selected by the venue.

What happens in a venue with poor mobile signal?

The proposed Edge option is intended to serve selected information locally over venue Wi-Fi. Availability and the exact offline scope are confirmed for each venue.
